Twenty minutes on what you drink, what you've disliked and what you want to understand.
Most people taste wine by deciding within two seconds whether they like it. A simple structure — look, smell, taste, conclude — turns that into something you can describe, remember and shop with.
Two modest bottles a week teach more than one expensive one. We plan around a sensible budget.
Acidity, tannin, body, sweetness and finish — the framework professionals use, learned by comparison.

This is for people 21 and over. Nothing is sold or shipped here — you buy your own bottles locally, which also means nobody is steering you toward stock they need to move.
Tasting is not drinking. Spitting is normal practice and nobody is expected to swallow anything, sessions use small pours, and if you'd rather not drink at all we'd rather you didn't. Never drive after a session, and if alcohol is something you're better off without, this isn't the hobby for you.
No. Most of the learning happens between ten and twenty-five dollars a bottle, and contrast matters far more than price.
No, never. You buy locally. We take no commission from any shop, importer or producer.
No. Pours are small, spitting is standard practice, and plenty of people taste and spit through an entire session.
We don't give investment advice of any kind. Buy wine you want to drink.
It builds the tasting skills those exams test, and we're not an exam body and award nothing. We'll tell you what the recognized programs involve.
